南韓總統朴槿惠因閨密門醜聞遭彈劾停職，而據南韓媒體報導，目前在押的朴槿惠親信崔順實，以及仍滯留德國的20歲女兒鄭維羅，在歐洲各銀行的資產規模竟高達10兆韓元（約台幣2886億），富可敵國，而崔氏母女透過紙上公司洗錢，還隱匿了8000億韓元（約台幣231億）資產。

南韓《亞洲經濟》和《韓國時報》報導，德國黑森州檢方初步調查，崔順實母女以假名在德國、英國、瑞士與列支敦士登等4個歐洲國家的銀行開立帳戶，推測母女倆在銀行的資產達10兆韓元，而她們經由在德註冊的500家紙上空殼公司洗錢，隱匿8000億韓元財產，而10兆韓元可能刷新德國犯罪偵查史最高紀錄，甚至超越歷來所有總統的非法資產。目前調查已移交德國聯邦檢察院。

另據英文《韓國時報》報導，南韓法務部和獨立檢察組向德國檢方提出共同調查請求，內容包括鄭女的行蹤、德方的調查報告，以及崔女在當地公司的帳目和金流。南韓檢方除已委請外交部駐銷鄭維羅的護照，並取得鄭女的逮捕令，可望對她採取強制傳喚措施。

韓聯社則指出，鄭維羅日前被傳與剛滿1歲的兒子在德國法蘭克福現身，由於德韓簽有司法互助協定，德方也將對她發布通緝令，鄭女近期可能主動返韓接受調查。她的律師李炅在聲稱，鄭維羅曾經表達接受傳喚回國的意願。
